any thoughts from experts or others on this?
Standard configuration system on ISDN30, no IP. 10 extensions.
Has been happy for several years but now triggers a reset of the keysets, on average every 24 hours but maybe twice one day and then not for three more days. It is not a full system reboot.
Monitor alarm dump shows:
PRN: ALARM: 17/09/2015 09:17:03 IP 500 4.2(17) <TLB Data > CRIT RAISED addr=000000e0 d=5 pc=f01cd4f4 f01cf23c f01cd958 f02a53bc f02e63cc f00178084

any thoughts as to what to do next?
many thanks

details on system model & firmware versions may assist.

That sort of alarm can only be interpreted by Avaya, and a single instance is unlikely to help them. My long shot suspicion would be clock slip on the PRI trunk which, unless you've change the configuration, is likely coming from the supplier end so a hard battle to get them to agree.

You need to be running Monitor traces logging to file and to try to capture what happens on the system just before the resets occur.

Also as said the type of telephones and more info about what is in the system would help.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

ok, thanks
IP500 v1 4.2(17) Two x DS8 cards and one Phone2/PRI all keyphones are 5410

the Monitor log has 8 alarms, all with the same data string.
Have monitor running now so hope to capture activity prior to the event.

well 4.2.17 is quite old
there are a number of 4.2 main releases that you should consider upgrading to
personally I would upgrade to 5.0.22 as this is the highest the system can go without an upgrade licence.
