A user complained that callers were getting dropped when pressing option 2, it routes calls to an external number. I tried dialong this number twice. I was dropped once. In the CallPilot Event Log Report, there are a ton of errors of the form:

2008/04/17 20:23:35 PmRemoveCallFromPortTable: Error1 rc=20015(0x4e2f)

I assume these two are related. What does this error mean? I search the various instruction manuals for PmRemoveCallFromPortTable and nothing came up.

Aside: Does anyone else not find the Nortel documentation very helpful?

Thanks in advance!

RE: 2008/04/17 20:23:35 PmRemoveCallFromPortTable: Error1 rc=20015(0x4e2f)

The error could be caused by any number of things and is even sometimes irrelevant. What you're looking for is the log entries before that specific error started. I'd make the test calls, stamp them (F9*9) and check the logs around the failing call stamps. Since it's an external call, I'd also launvh BCMMON and observe whether or not the external trunks are being accessed by the test call that fails.

Check Option 2 to see what the number is and try calling it manually and use the BCM Monito to verify the out put.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
