Hi,

Appologies if this seems simple, but my Java Script is quite poor at the moment.

I have a dropdown List on a ASP form, which has a list of supplier numbers - names.

When the user presses, 'F' for example, I want to go to the first instance that begins with F - this is at position 9 of the text.

Please help as Im going nuts!

Thanks
Rob

Hi,

My problem is that I got supplier number then name
e.g. 012345 - Freds Building Ltd

The users will need to be able to press F and take them to this item. They dont work with supplier numbers, but it is needed as some suppliers occur more than once for different types of contracts.

Please help :-(
Thanks
Rob

I could do I suppose -

But in our VB6 programs its always supplier number then name.

Just trying to keep a standard.

But this might be my only option.
