Drop Down Lists

Is there a way to change the values in a drop-down list in Great Plains?
In the HR module, Cards | Human Resources | employee | discipline, in the discipline entry screen there is a drop down for "stage to insert", Iwould like to be able to change the values displayed. Is this possible?

You might be able to change the text by using the Modifier.

Yes I probably should be able to but I can't get access to it. I looked after I posted and I the modifier option is greyed out. Is there a utility or add-on I have to install or activate to be able to use the modifier?

I have never tried to use it before.

You either need to change security to let you see it or you did not purchase it.
