Hello,

Really need someones help on how to do this.
How do you create a Dropdown list that has your product listed and when you select one from the list it displays the price for that product in a box below.

Forgive me if this is so simple, i just dont know where to start.

Thanks.

Example Below in what im talking about

Productlists: Dropdown
Product1
Product2
Product3

Pricing: Product1Price
Product2Price
Product3Price

Thanks again

Forgot to mentioned that im using Version 8.5 Advanced

Hope someone can help me.

Not sure if this is the best way to do it, but the way I do.
I would create a separate database, either as a different file or within this as a different Table.

With that, you create your Product list that contains the details (inluding price).

The file that you want those 2 things displayed would ave the product (a drop down value list that's created by the field names from your product database. That would show a drop down with the name of your products). You then create a relation between the 2 databases using your product name as the link. The Price field would just be looking to your product database price field.

effectsguy is right.
1-many relationship would be the cleanest.
All the best!
