Hello,
is there a way to make a button with a drop down arrow?
When the user clicks on the arrow, a drop down list would appear, or simply press the button.

Thank you

Create it in the resource editor as a combo box the size of the arrow. Click on the combo box arrow to shape the size of the dropdown list.

Unfortunately, it does not seem as if the drop down list can be wider than the button itself so if I take this approach and make the combo box only as wide as the arrow, the list is the same width.

Is there a way to alter this?

Thanks

If you just want to display a list using a combo box using the resource editor, choose combo box(you would see the outline for this box - which is actually for the drop down) choose the width of the combo and the length of the drop-down and just drop it on the dialog. Leave the defaults for this combo box. Using the 'Layout' option 'Test' this combo box.
You can add vertical and horizontal scroll to your combo thru' properties.

Hope this helps.
