Drives go offline

OK, I am new to this software. I just took over an IT dept and they use Vertias 8.60. The drives have gone offline and I cant seem to get them back online. I assume a reboot will fix this, but there has to be another way to do it as well. Anyone know?

try restarting the BE 8.6 services.....

Did that and it didnt work either.

have you tried removing the device for "device manager" and then rescanning it to find the device and then restart the BE service? Cable are in snuggly?

if all else fails reboot.
