Dear IT Gurus,

I am trying to install a driver for a Lexmark printer on a Windows 2000 server and it brings up the message that the driver is not signed by Microsoft. I've experienced this before, but this time, when you click on OK (which is the only option) it cancels the install!

Is there some setting that can be altered under W2K server which will allow me to continue the install???

Someone help me before I try and kill Bill Gates!

Thanks a lot,

Toby

Hi! Try to turn driver signing off. My computer>properties>hardware>driver signing: check the radio button "Install all files, regardless of driver signing".
Good Luck.

It worked! Excellent. I never knew that was there.....

Thanks a lot!
