We use a Netware 4.11 network, with a combo of Win95 & WinXP PCs. My users use 3 servers, FO, BO, and MT. Everyone needs access to BO and FO, and 3 people need access to MT, and they are the only members/trustees in the group. Usually when a user logs on, they get rights to the MT server, when there are no group memberships or IRF to this server. Is there any reason why a user gets mapped drives to MT when they are not a member or have access rights to this server, instead of getting the mapped drives they have been assigned?? Or can someone point me in the right direction of where to look??
Thanks in advance..

WHat drive mappings are they getting? Are the mappings to SYS:pUBLIC or anything like that?

How does your login script map drives? Post your script for us. -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"

You could try SET REPLY TO GET NEAREST SERVER = OFF on your MT server as I suspect that it is replying to login broadcasts because is is the 'least busy server' This would give users a minimum of F:SYS:\PUBLIC and z: to the same, depending on your login script variables. Remember that ALL users have RWCEMF to SYS:pUBLIC.

Are there any Persitant Mappings at the Workstation level?

Just a thought.

Good Luck!
