Is there a more sophisticated way of mapping drives for clients at logon with XP/2000 clients other than default.bat in the replicator directory of the server and the clients running the net use x: \\etc\etc... in a command window?

Take a look at KIXtart. We're switching froma .bat based login schemes to this. It's very powerful, and flexible.
