Hi,
I am using win2K server as a mail server. I've configured mdaemon on drive and the client mails are on a second drive D. The problem I am having is my drive C is getting full at an abnormal rate and I just can't figure out why.
Any ideas as to what's happening?

Also check for log files from applications. Generally log files from Backup software, Email software like Exchange and Database software.

Do a search for files on the C:\ drive that are 3Mb or more and see if any log files turn up. I suggest 3MB as a guess. You could also check for files that have been created on the C:\ drive in the past 2 days and troubleshoot as appropriate based on the results you get.

Claudek is right into it.. I encounter this problem when I'm new to the company. The previous administrator created a full backup job on the tape and at the same time on the harddrive. So I ammend the properties of the job and delete the the 50GB backup folder on the harddrive.

Here's a star Claudek. Log files are one of the worst culprits. Good luck.

Thanks guys. The log files were the main culprit.
