I'm looking for an adapter that can be put on a laptop harddrive so that I can connect it to a Desktop computer. Anyone know where I can find one? I've seen them, but at the sites I've seen them at, they want me to let them do the work and pay instead of enabling me.

Thanks

Finally found it, just for FYI purposes, it's called an interface adapter 2.5 to 3.5.

Keith

Where and how much?
Ed Fair
efair@atlnet.com

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.
I found it locally here in Salt Lake City UT, at a place called universal systems. It's part number is 01-4068-c and is called a 2.5 hard disk drive installation Kit. got it for about $20. found it online, but the shipping charges made it the same price.

Keith

Is there any chance you can find out the adapter config, because I don't live in the states and need to extract data from a 2.5 hard disk... please...
