Drill Through from PPES To IWR

When I try to drill through from PPES to IWR, I choose the report I want to run.
A blank screen comes up in internet explorer. It says done in the lower left corner of the browser and there is a yellow symbol shaped like a triangle with an exclamation point in the middle of it.
The URl points to ...cognos/cgi-bin/imrap.cgi, so that part seems to be correct.

Anyone have any ideas what is happening to me?

We've run into this issue on a number of occasions.

Usually, deleting then re-publishing the report set clears this up. (Not sure why.)

We recently had the issue where a cube had two folders with all the measures within one of the two folders, and drill-through reports wouldn’t run. We updated the cer3.ini to user simple URL back buttons, and the report started working. Since it had nothing to do with the problem, we are still stumped on why it worked.

The change we implemented is as follows:

There is a workaround of adding into cer3.ini

UseSimpleBackUrl=1
