Report layout:

Group 1: Site
Group 2: Unit
Group 3: Serial number
Group 4: @monthString
Detail suppressed: @monthString, @findSerialNull
(//{@findSerialNull}:
if isnull({Command.Date / Time}) or
not({Command.Date / Time} in datetime(2005,01,01,00,00,00) to datetime(2005,09,30,23,59,59)) then
1 else 0)
Group 2 footer: calculation of %unitDone
Group 1 footer: calcultation of %siteDone
Report footer plot Site(Y axis)vs %siteDone (X axis)horizontal bar chart.

Qeustion:
How do I make the %siteDone plot able to drill down to a %unitDone plot?

Any help will be appreciated.

I must be missing somthing. If I put %unitDone in GF2, it only shows that single unit with one big fat bar chart drill down to data. I now put it in GF1 so that it shows all individual units in one graph under the same site (group1). I have to put %siteDone in REPORT FOOTER because I want to show % done for all individual sites in one graph.

What I need is drill down from Report Footer Site graph to Unit graph showing %unitDone.

Looks like (--- similate horizontal bar graph):

Site Graph:
site A --------
site B -----------
site C -------
%siteDone

double click on row site A would give:

Unit graph of site A:
unit a ---------
unit b -----------
unit c -----
%unitDone

Right now, both graphs are done with Chart Expert Advanced option, the Drill Down option was grey out. May be my grouping was not right? Or will there be any work around with coding? (I do not know how to do that).

Thanks IDO.

In that case, the main chart (showing all sites) should be in RH1 and the 2nd chart should be in GF1.

- Ido

Visual CUT & DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

In order to drill down on a chart you must use the Group chart option, NOT Advanced.
