I'm a web designer who is very fluent in Dreamweaver 4.0, but I've found it hard to make the leap to UltraDev. (Haven't yet upgraded to MX.)

I would like to learn to create simple database-driven pages, maybe more over time. Can anyone recommend a book on UltraDev or MX that is good for Dreamweaver users who don't possess a heavy-duty programming background?

Thanks,

I used Sams Teach yourself asp in 24hrs then just dived straight into the onboard tutorials.

Hi,

I found that the Friends of Ed "Foundation Ultradev" book was worth buying. Not only do they have onboard tutorials, but there is a full download site and discussion forums too.

Worth checking out.

(well for that purpose anyway)

Any one else notice the "Sams Teach yourself" theme going on here. I can recommend most of there books as an easy way to learn most subjects in a relaxed way. The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made.
