Hi All,

I'm trying to overcome a problem with popups created in Dreamweaver4. Alas sometimes they must be used and lately I've used alot of them. My present problem is with a shopping cart. Basically I have a list of about 20 products, each thumbnail requiring a popup for an enlarged view of the product. All ok so far. But as you scroll down to each product, and press each popup, the page automatically scrolls back to the top, very annoying if there is along list of Items/products. Does anyone one know how to stop the page going back to the top after a popup is pressed?

Any help much appreciated
Kris

Here is a link for example.

sure,
ur image will have a <a href> tag like this:
<a href=&quot;#&quot; onclick=&quot;MM_Something&quot;>

change that to:
<a href=&quot;javascript:MM_Something;return void(0)&quot;>

Your a star,

does exactly what it says on the box.

Just have to apply it to 150 pops, oh well.

thanks again.

Actually I've just found a much quicker way to update the pops just paste javascript:; into the link properties. The way you described was causing a script error.

But thanks anyway you put me on the right road. I must read up more about javascript, I take for granted relying on Dreamweaver, when you have a pile of work I guess laziness creeps in, well it has to!

Any way a great forum to learn from, I'm sure I'll be back at some point.

cheers
Kris
