Is it me or does anyone else have trouble (when using WYSIWYG editor) getting Dreamweaver to display the webpages as they look on the actual website? Is there an option I am overlooking? I like the tool, but I can never get it to do what I want. Coding using Homesite or TextPad is faster and much more reliable.

The same seems to be true when I bring up pages using Contribute. The page displayed in the editor is not the same as what gets rendered on the website.

Haven't used Contribute much and cannot comment there - but I have never had problems with Dreamweaver per se. If there are display issues with a particular browser it could be related to that browser/version or with your code.

I find occasional small errors in my code that have to be corrected in order to get the page to display correctly (for example - if I'm lazy about what tag CSS get applied to). They are usually caused by Dreamweaver trying to interpret what I want. However, the view in DW is always the same as the browser view - if it is a code issue.

Peace

Nope... views are not the same. All my code is written for both IE and Netscape. The pages always display fine (and the same) in the browsers. The DW view never reflects the browser view.

I just figured maybe there was some option/setting I was over-looking.

Thanks
