I am building a website for the publishing house I work with using Dreamweaver 8. I am using tables for all the pages. What I see in Dreamweaver moves when I browse in IE. Also in Dreamwaver it seems that I have to work always off centre for IE to show correctly. Can anyone help?

Look into CSS layouts instead of tables

Can you please help regarding CSS. I don't know what these are and where to start from. I only had a basic course of 8 lessons on Dreamweaver and only learnt using tables. The only CSS I use is that to format text like headings and info text.

Google for CSS tutorials, or you can start here:

For specific CSS questions, read the FAQs in forum215 then if you can't find the answer ask there.

I have checked the links that you gave me and I'm afraid that if it has anything to do with coding and html I'm completely hopeless. It's enough to understand Dreamweaver let alone html. Can you recommend something else or a good book which I can follow more easily. Thanks and I appreciate a lot your help.
