Hello,

I have a working drag and drop program to drop files on a form using win32 api (VB6), but my users want to be able to drop files on the system tray icon (when the application is minimized, I do not show the program is the toolbar, but only as system tray icon.)

Is this possible ?
Can you make the system tray icon respond to the "drop" message iso a mouse click ?

Thanks in advance,

J.

Your form should be able to handle the mouse move event. Try it.

I am already responding to the mousemove event.
The form maximizes when the user move over it.
Problem is that you first have to move over the icon when not dragging the file. The form restores to its normal size, and then you can start dragging to it.

I would like to drag a file straight to icon, and drop it on the icon, not first maximizing the form by moving over the icon, and then start dragging....
