Drag and Drop Question 1

I've been given the task to implement drag and drop functionality to page. Someone apparently visited

and has asked me to build something like it but with less functionality.

I'm more or less looking for a bare bones drag and drop toolkit/Framework/library tutorial w/e... Yes I have searched the forum and google. Just wanted a heads up from the gurus @ tek-tips to see how they would go about this task.

i've been using mootools recently - i found drag and drop very rapid to implement and the mootools scripts are very streamlined (to my untutored eye).
