Dr. Watson

Hi,
I have Dr. Watson error, it says.
An application error has occured an application protocol is being genarated.
NTDBMSGR.exe
Exception :Access Violation (0xc0000005), address : 0x1006901
How can i troubleshoot this problem.
Recently i have not install any service pack or anything.

NTDBSMGR.EXE is part of the SQL querying engine. It results in a GPF when using Order BY on segmented indexes.

While this may not be particularly helpful, the Access Violation 0xC0000005 can quite often be traced back to a permissions issue. If Dr Watson gives this message, then an application has attempted to write data to a location it had no access rights to.

When troubleshooting these messages from the good Doctor, I use Filemon from

http://www.sysinternals.com,

and run the application to the point at which it falls over again.

Make careful note of what actions in which applications can reproduce this issue 100% of the time.

Unfortunately, there is not support for Pervasive 7.0 since January 1st 2002.

Hello Saviours.

I am working on a 2MBPS leased line Proxy in my office, I was able to download multiple files at one time maybe around 50 downloads at one time, but since i formated my machine and reloaded windows nt server 4 it enables me to download only two files at one time and doesnt even allow me to browse the net till one of the two downloads is complete , due to this much of my Internet work is held up,Please help me out
