Hello,

This is not a development question, but I wasn't sure where else to post this. Is it possible to download websites that contain flash to ur local hard drive? For off-line viewing later on?

Any input is appreciated, Thanks!!

if i'm not mistaking when you view a flash site(or swf file) it is automatically cached to your system..so all you would have to do is go to your temporary internet folder inside windows and they should be there..there are those how ever who set there swf's so that there not cached to your system..but for those you would have to get some further advise on how to download..not sure..

hope that helps..

download managers do the trick. I use gozilla and leach sites I want stuff from. It lets you put in the URL and it works out all the files on the server (provided they have not hidden them in some way), you select the ones you want and hit the leach button.

thanks for the tip, do flash components always have a .swf extension? and if i download the .swf file is that all i need?
