I HAVE NETSCAPE IN COMBINATION WITH SYMPATICO HIGH SPEED WHEN I DOWNLOAD MY E-MAIL I GET ALL OF THE MESSAGES LEFT ON THE SERVER. WHEN MY WIFE ACCESSES THE SAME ACCOUNT THROUGH A REGULAR DIAL UP SHE ONLY GETS E-MAIL THAT HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN DOWNLOADED ON THAT PARTICULAR COMPUTER. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ASSIST ME TO ELIMINATE THIS ANNOYANCE WITHOUT HAVING TO REMOVE MAIL FROM THE SERVER EVERYTIME I CHECK FOR MAIL. THANKYOU!

have you tried going into your email clients settings and checking the box that says delete mail from the server after retrieval.
I had the same problem with downloading from Operamail to Pegasus and I finally twigged to it.
So simple it is easy to overlook.
