Download order of BoSS3.1 for BS470

Hello Nortel-folks,

I would like to upgrade a BS470-48T HW:#04,FW:V2.2.0.1,
SW:V2.2.0.14 with the latest BoSS3.1 stuff.

But I'm not sure which file to load first.
Is it the image or the diagnostics file in that case ?

whats the point to the diag bin?

Diag bin is like the first file you had to load on a 350/450 switch.

Check your switch first, as it may already have this version of the Diagnostic code. If so, you don't have to upgrade the diag code.

Note that diag code is not updated as often as the image code, probably since the switch hardware that the diag code checks out isn't changed often.

Always load the .bin file first this is the firmware file, and then the .img file the software file. Nortel recommends it.
