I am configuring two 1601 in 64k leased line. I have prepared my config but I want to download by files so I can try several configs quickly. I more into design than hands-on so I'm not sure how to do this.
The way I write configs quickly is type it up in a text editor and then copy it to the (config)# prompt. Copy&paste comes in especially handy when testing access-lists.
Set up a TFTP server on your machine (NT or UNIX), then you can run the command "copy run TFTP" on your router, and it will step you through asking for your host name, then the file name.
