Download COMPLETE IE6

I need to install IE6 on half a dozen pc's. The online setup bs infuriates me, and I can't find where I can download the whole shebang. Is it even offered somewhere?


Any Ideas would be appreciated.

When you run the installer, there's a button "Advanced". Click on it. It will give you the option to "save" for later install. YOu can then burn it to CDR, or if you already have 1 computer with it on, look in the c:\windows\windowsupdatesetup\ folder. Burn that to CD, and you've got it all. Cheers,

Or easier again is to go down to your local magazine store and just buy one of the pc magazines. There are plenty of them with free cds with extra tools and with IE6 installations of them with the window updates etc.

No downloading at all....

I think installing from a CD will cause many headaches in the future.

You'll always get promted to insert the CD.

Seen it happen time and time again.

Anyway, you always get the latest version online.
