Downgrading Firmware

Hi,

I have this big problem. I purchased new 9620L phones and it doesnt work. it keeps on dicovering. I have read some docs and maybe the firmware of the 9620 was in 3.0 that's why it will not work with my CM3.1.2.. But I dont know how to know the default factory firmware of the new phones. Because if it 3.0, I will downgrade it to 2.0.. Also, in the downgrade what are the files needed? I have S8300/G700. Thanks.

you'll have to upgrade to R 3.1 (9600 H.323)

Note: Release 111609 includes:

•H.323 Release 3.0 Service Pack 1 for the 9610, 9620Lite, 9620Color, 9630, 9630G, 9640, 9640G, 9650 and 9650 and 9670 Color IP Telephones.

Requirements:
Before downloading and installing the AVAYA IP Telephone files from this Web site, please be sure that:

1.Your Avaya Media Server should have Communication Manager 3.1.4 or later

Yah.. I have 3.1.2 that why I cant use 3.0 FW for 9600 series. Im planning it to downgrade the FW of the phone to 2.0.. How?
