down grade 1

need to down grade a mics 5.1 xc to 4.1 xc with out losing its programming or having to re-program the system. mike p.
 
I just don't know of a way. I don't think it can be done.
Anybody?????????????/

if you are downgrading for the sake of voicemail , it is better to upgrade the voicemail
 
If you do downgrade it is very possible that your system ID will change also. so that means that any Key Codes that you may have are no longer any good.
 
thats true hawks ...the system ID will change when you downgrade or when you change the NVRAM cartridge

Nortel now gives a keycode to change to the original systemID, so that you can use the old keycodes
