Hi in my report I have 5 groups like

g1h
grh
g3h
g4h
g5h
d
g5f (this has col's which i have groped cg1,cg2,cg3,cg4,cg5)
g4f
g3f
g2f
g1f

I am supressing everything and displaying the data in g5f. so except g5f everything is supressed.
Now what i want to know is if I change the g5to the place of g4 and g4 to the place of g5 will there be any change in the data set returned which I am displaying in the report.

Thanks...

No, grouping works on existing details, though the order may change.

Depending on your version, you might be able to use Group Expert to move groups up or down.

It helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

The results shown could very well be different, although the report itself is working from the same dataset. It depends upon how the fields used in Group 4 and 5 relate to each other.
