Hi,
the scenario is:
-incoming external call to extension, after timeout is expired the call is reroute to operator but the extension is still in ring state.

Q: is possible to avoid the double ring (queue operator and extension)?

I known that this is correct, but in this case I can't generate b-false answer (and I can't provide to external calling party a queue operator welcome message)

System is in tsw sp5.

correct indeed. You can't avoid this.
What you can do is use CDCOI to operator (given that the extension has no CDINI).

Check Application system parameter 8 (ASPAP:pARNUM=8;). If it is 1 change it to 0 (ASPAC:pARNUM=8,PARVAL=0;). This may help.

kank, has that parameter influence on rerouting?

Have you tried using PELPI on extension to send into the Operator queue (max 60 secs before 'divert')? it will not leave after you have sent it there, but that is ok as long as you get the queue message? I have not tried this.

PARNUM 8 is for ringing on origin and solve half the problem I think?

Also check PARNUM 161 - sending of false B answer to external line before RVA is provided.

Hi to all & thanks for the advice!

Whosrdaddy: I'll try cdcoi (next week, I hope) & I'll inform you about.

Kank:
Yes, is a rerouting for not replay to PO.

Parnum:
I can't use a pelpi because with the PEN is impossible to provide to external calling party a busy tone (I have tried many workaround unsuccessfull, remember Whosrdaddy? my tread thread806-1517173)

ok, but you said you wanted the call to go to the operator queue, not a busy tone? operator never gives busy tone so I do not understand what you want now - busy tone or queue on no reply on this ext, you cannot have both, and you cannot play a queue message to a caller with a busy tone?

Hi Parnum,
Pelpi activation is a good solution for my question (rerouting to operator for not replay without a ring to called extension), but with list distribution I can't provide to external calling a busy tone if the called party is a busy state.
So I want:
1) if the called extension not replay to external incoming call, reroute to OP must be taken and I want provide a welcom que message on corg (calt 1).
2) if the called extension is busy, I want provide busy tone to calling external party.
Thanks & Sorry for my bad english.
BR, Donato.

I also have a problem with the double ringing in TSW sp5. The call diverts to the operator but the handset still rings. What can be done with this? Is CDCOI the thing to use with it, how does it work?

What happen if you set CDIV to divert on no reply only - by adding cdini to ext to op, then #sc# on ext to remove divert on busy (cs=service code for divert on no reply). This gives engage tone on busy and to operator queue on no reply. If parnum 8=0, parnum 161 and parnum 139=as you need them to be for your incoming call, do you get RVA message in queue at any time?
