Double click on record in subform!

I have a form with a subform which are linked and show the correct records when moving through the main records. However on the subform which is in datasheet view I want to open a form which has the same information as the subform which I can do but it does not link the records so no matter what record I was on the subform it still shows the first entry. does anyone have any suggestions?
