Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but here goes. I have a DOS PC on the network and it boots to a C Prompt, which I have to change to D:\folder to access another PC. How/where do I need to go to make it boot up to D:\folder instead of the C prompt? DOS Dummy here...LOL. Thanks in advance.

In the autoexec.bat file, make the last line

d:\

If you do not have an autoexec.bat file in the root of c:, create one...At the prompt, type "edit autoexec.bat", type "d:\". Save the file.

Its been awhile.
You might try placing this command on the last line in autoexec.bat file:
d:

Thanks Jake and Skenny. Your idea worked.
