DOS Mode for Windows Me????

Hi, can anyone tell me how i can shut down into dos using windows me, the option is not there like it was on windows 98 in the shut down menu and i have a couple of programs that will not run in a dos promt they need to be run from real dos.

Hey Deano there is not real way to run dos in WinME. Back with windows 98 and 98Se they used VDM..a virtual dos manager. It simulated a dos environment to perform dos activites. Unfortunately winME doesnt have VDM like before. The only option you have is to boot from the A: drive with an emerg disk and you will get an version of VDM but it is limited in what it can do.
