I've got a couple DoorPhones set up on our system. In the DoorPhone config (F 9*4):
DP#1 has DN=248, Call DN=246 (which is on an unused port), Rings=3, Page Zone=1, Chime Type=1
DP#2 has DN=249, Call DN=247 (which is on an unused port), Rings=3, Page Zone=2, Chime Type=3

On Zone 1 phones, I've programmed all sets (all T7316s) with an Answer DN for 246 (Appear & Ring), and for Zone 2 phones, I've programmed all sets (again, all T7316 sets) with an Answer DN for 247. Things generally work fine, but occasionally when someone presses the door phone button, it rings once on all phones, then drops into someone's voicemail (seems to vary from time to time). I believe, but haven't confirmed, that this happens if one of the phones is in use or in DND.

Any thoughts on why this would be happening, and how to resolve? It's kind of weird for a visitor to ring the doorbell and have someone's voicemail...

Thanks,
Ben

sounds like one or more of your phones has call forward on busy too voice mail

Thanks, Techtime. That's right... phones have Call Fwd on Busy -- this is a functionality we'd like to preserve. Is there, as a result, no recourse for our situation/circumstances? Ideally, it should continue to ring on other sets, even if a phone is in use...

Norstar set is a member of a Hunt Group, the
Call Forward on busy feature is overridden and the Hunt
Group call continues to ring until the hunt time has
expired.

try this it should work to solve your problem
