I'm having a slight problem with a door unlock situation. I have a door opening controller and a door phone and I hooked it up fine. the door unlocks fine through the phone. BUT they also have two buttons that they used to be able to press to unlock the door. They are just 1 pair of wires and I would assume its just a relay. button pressed, closes the circuit, button unpressed opens the circuit. question is, what do I need to connect to both sides of that relay? I would assume 1 side would be power, but whats the other? I have tried just about everything. Thanks for any help you can give.

I'd put it in parrallel with your DOC. Normally Open, either device could send a short and open the door. Power on one side, common on the other.
