We have a door phone setup where it dials a huntgroup. If everyone is on Do Not Disturb it just rings and rings. Is there a way to make it stop ringing after awhile? The person using the door phone can't hang it up as there is only one button to push, and hitting that button again doesn't hang it up.

Better build something so that the door intercom will be answered :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Does the hunt group have an overflow group configured? if not build one

So you're just going to have them stand there after being disconnected instead? Best to make it so there is always someone who can answer in my opinion, unless you don't like your visitors that is :)

amriddle good call on the DND exception list, forgot about that. That will keep them guessing when their phone continues to ring when dnd is activated, also a star for the humor on your last post

Only works once connected, that will not disconnect while alerting/queuing :)

Send it to voicemail hearing a message "pick up the brick on the ground and throw it thru the window, we will open the door a.s.a.p"

Create a virtual user, and but that user under a bridged appearance key. Let the doorphone call the virtual user and your key should ring.

Or put the doorphone in the white list of a user so he hear the door.

I guess I should of specified that we only have the problem when someone pushes the door phone on a day everyone is out of the office.. :) Not really an issue with coverage.

Ya I would have stated that right up front, it would of saved us all lots of time! So what do you want to happen when no one is in the office and pushed the door phone?

Is it possible to have it on a time profile and thus if after hours the button does nothing?

Create a new HG without queuing, put in the same users and let it call the new HG you will hear busy tone.

Last time I tried a time profile it didn't work. It would just give a busy signal when button pushed and would never go away.

Since the busy signal never goes away maybe there is a way to have it answer with a message and then hang up automatically.

Then your doorphone is rubbish, buy a decent one. Most have some setting you might need to set.
