Door Phone over tie line?

Hi folks,

It's amazing at the depth of the knowledge pool here. This site always has the answer when the vendors are stumped. My vendor is stumped with this one. Any ideas?

We have office and plant locations across town from each other. MICSs in each location are connected with tie-lines over a T1. We're wanting to install a doorphone at the plant and be able to cycle the DOC from both locations.

Does the door phone have the capability to ring a remote number (Destination code) over the tie line? If so, will the "open door" function key work on the phone at the office?

I cannot say for sure but I do not think the nortel door phone will work across tie lines, I think you may have to go with a analog door phone from a secondary market. such as viking

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.
