Some issues with a door phone. Its set as an off hook station but it takes 40 seconds to hang up. Is there any way to shorten this time.

?Why's it set as an off-hook station.

They have two separate doors. Each has a Viking door phone, which is just a basic analog phone. Has no handset just a call button and a number pad. They press the call button to receive dial tone. Enter the relay code and it releases the mag locks. All of that works fine except after they enter the code the phone doesn’t hang up right away. It takes 40 seconds for the phone to hang up. It is set as an off hook station so the phone will hang up after 40 seconds. If it is not set as an off hook station the phone will remain on the line until someone manually disconnects it.
Which wouldn’t be a big deal except the two doors share an analog line so if one is in use the other can not be used until the first hangs up. So my question is this, is there a way to decrease the time it takes for the phone to disconnect automatically?

It is a Viking problem. IP Office will always disconnect a extension without a connection after 40 seconds, thats hard coded and cannot be changed.

Try setting the analog extension to "IVR port" in the Extensions area of Manager. This forces a drop pulse when the call is terminated.
