We are software build 4.2 and I just can't get the CXi and Videx to talk. The door entry is fob based (nothing to do with the mitel, but it means there is no keypad), with a single button that rings in, the presentation from the guys who installed it is a standard phone socket. If we plug a plain old handset into this socket and press the door button, the handset rings and on pick-up you get put through to the speaker on the front door. The person then presses 9 on the handset and the door is released. We want to do the same thing but plug it into the CXi. From various threads, it looks like it has to be an analog trunk not an extension. I've done some basic programming for the analog trunk, but it just won't work. To be honest, I've never used analog trunks, my main area is SIP and digital lines, so I'm finding the whole thing frustrating!

This is nearly working. Faulty cable was the cause.

The end points now ring, but when I try and talk to the person at the door, I can hear myself down the set, kinda like a local echo.

Play with the circuit descriptor of your analog truck.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Make sure "Audio Inhibit Until Answer Supervision" is set to "No"

Always look out for the next guy because it may be you!
