Door entry phone on Mitel 3300

Hi, I have a door entry phone which uses an analogue port on our CXi. But I want it to appear and ring on more than one extension. We have 2 floors and need more than one person to be able to open door ( our door unit just needs user to dial 55 to open door). I have tried using a hunt group but this did not work very well.any help gratefully received .thanks

You could program a Ringgroup with a Group presence button for the users. If your SW doesn't support that group then look at key system programming.

or a multicall would work

program a spare key on someone's phone as a multicall using a spare extension number, then copy that key to other phones (again choosing multicall, as it will have reverted to single)

have the door entry phone dial the above extension, and that key will then ring/flash on all phones which have it

Thanks for your great advice....now have it all working !
Head was in shed before Christmas...too busy rushing around and getting nowhere !
The Kalika Ulydor S1-S works really well and is quite robust. Also great price compared to others
