Hello all.

Recently, I've placed a PS/2 expansion card on an old AT motherboard. The purpose of this is to replace a dying serial trackball with a new PS/2 mouse. Here's the problem - the PC won't see anything, and I mean anything, attached to the new PS/2 port on the card, but it will see devices on the serial port side of the same card. Any ideas?

If it were an IRQ conflict, the PC would lock up completely, right?

Not laughing, mice can be a real pain sometimes.

While I cant help with the add-on card I am curious as to why you just dont get a PS2 to serial adapter and plug in to the know good port?

Best regards
