Is there a command or switch available to tell domino Server to shut down at a given time? Domino's open files interfere with my server backups, and would like for Domino Server to shut down prior to the satart of my backup proceedure. (Scheduler restarts Domino with no problems). Any help is greatly appreciate!

You can create a Program document that executes nserver.exe with -quit option. For example, for Windows NT and Domino software installed in D:\Lotus\Domino folder:
Program Name: cmd
Command line: /c d:\lotus\domino\nserver.exe -quit
Schedule: desired time for the server to shut down

I tested. It works.
