I would like to know if it is possible to create a notes front end in order to access mailboxes through http by only one server.

ie:

Server A : Notes + HTTP ( front end )
Server B : Notes server ( mail database ) on site 1
Server C : Notes server ( mail database ) on site 2

A user will be able to access directly its mailbox with the notes client or he will be able to access the same mailbox through server A with http ....

But i don't want to use HTTP onto my servers B and C.

Hi,

We do this simply by replicating the mailboxes to the HTTP server.
When people use a Notes client they can use the server in their location. When they need to access over internet hoewver they use the central server only which replicates the mailboxes of these users every 5 minutes from all other servers.

This way we also have only 1 server that runs the HTTP task.
Webusers see new mail every 5 minutes which should be OK for most users.
