Does anyone know if there is any plans for IBM to introduce functionality that would work like Microsoft's journaling? Basically, set up journaling so that the messages are MAILED to a 3rd party and still retain original information like sender/recipients, etc?

Exchange journaling requires some processing on the 3rd party side, so I would expect the same would be true if IBM did it with DOMINO.

Dunno if IBM will enter this arena. I suppose you could set up a journaling user ID and define an agent in it's NSF to scrape a journal DB and then mail it somewhere, sort of how Symantec's E-Vault works now.

Yeah, I guess I was just hoping eventually it would be native functionality to mail a copy of messages (for compliance archiving) to somewhere else.

Thanks for your help...was just curious if anyone had heard anything. I thought I had heard a rumor...
