Hi,

I have a windows 2000 AD structure with mixed clients (win98/NT/2000/XP). There are some printers installed and published on the DC.

As domain admin one can connect to a published printer in the directory and print documents wheras domain users are not be able to print documents to those printers. Every domain user is a power user on each computer via restricted GPO. The printer permissions allow them, either.

What might be the problem here?

check the AD printer object rights too!

thanks for the hint!

I changed the object permissions of a AD printer so that a group of users do have read permission to that object, reinstalled the printer on the client and made a restart by client computer. Nothing is changed!
