I have a Win2k server box that runs its own DNS server, acts as a PDC and has its own IP range of 125.50.50.* and I have an NT4 box that acts as a PDC also and has some clients (win95,98,workstation) and also has its own IP range. I would like to setup a trust with the 2 domains BUT for some reason neither domains can see each other. I am not that good with NT Administration but I think it has something to do with the 2 domains being on a diffrent IP scope. Can someone share some light on my problem? Gordon R. Durgha

Indeed, if your two domains are in different subnets, they won't be able to see each other, unless you set up WINS on both machine, you set up a router in between the two IP ranges, and you point on the server to the WINS server in the other domain...
From that point on, they will find each other
(you could also use a LMHOSTS file, but setting up WINS has more advantages and is easier to use) Peter Van Eeckhoutte

You could just add a A: Record to Each DNS server with the IP details for the other domain i am assuming that they are seperated by router???
