Domain Trusts

I currently have 3 separate domains. We lost the trusts from domain 'a' to domain 'b' due to a power failure. Once power was backup i recreated the trusts. NT reported that the trusts were successfull but when i browse from domain 'b' to domain 'a' i cant see domain 'a' but i can see domain 'b' from domain 'a'.

Any ideas???

break the domains and rebuild them... it's the only way to make sure it works again ---------------------------------------------------------------------

go to user manager, policies - trust relationships and stop the trust (do it on both domains)

then re-create the trust :

E.g. : DOM1 and DOM2

DOM1 trusts DOM2
	-> DOM2 will be able to access DOM1
	-> DOM1 needs to choose a trust password
On DOM1
User Manager – Policies (Menu ) – Trust Relationships
Add (Trusting Domains)
	Trusting domain : DOM2
	Choose a password (input it twice)
	OK
Close

On DOM2
User Manager – Policies(Menu) – Trust Relationships
Add (Trusted Domain)	-> trusted by
	Domain : DOM1
	Paswoord : Input the same password	OK
	-> “ Trust relationship with DOM1 succesfully established “

Now perform the same operation for the other direction :

DOM2 trusts DOM1
	-> DOM1 will be able to access resources on DOM2
        -> DOM2 needs to choose a trust password
On DOM2
User Manager – Policies (Menu ) – Trust Relationships
Add (Trusting Domains)
	Trusting domain : DOM1
	Choose a password (input it twice)
	OK
Close

On DOM1
User Manager – Policies(Menu) – Trust Relationships
Add (Trusted Domain)	-> trusted by
	Domain : DOM2
	Paswoord : Input the same password	OK
	-> “ Trust relationship with DOM2 succesfully established “
