Hi,

I am not a technical user on this one. We have an existing domain called 'company.ltd'. We need to create a new domain and trust it to 'company.ltd'. The new domain is to be called 'new.company.ltd'. Is this going to cause a problems with the trust etc. There will be a one-way trust from 'company.ltd' to 'new.company.ltd'.

All windows 2003 environment. Thanks for any advice.....

It sounds to me like a Parent/Child Trust which BTW are transitive by default, don't think you get one-way trusts anymore.

Yeb, you are right... Old school, well the last time I did it.

Will the naming convention cause any probs?
