Domain Name Change 1

I have a domain called companyname.location. This group of servers will shortly be relocated to a different area of the country and I'd like to change the domain name to reflect this. Is this possible, or is the domain name set in stone ?

You can rename the domain as long as certain requirements are met. See the Microsoft KB article at the following link.

You may want to look at upgrading to Server 2003 if your current servers don't meet the pre-requisites defined by the KB article.

Either way, it is NOT a job for the timid.
