Some desktops on the domain are receiving error, the Domain is not available upon login. To get the pc working again, you have to remove it from the domain and re-add it, but the issue will return in a few days. This only affects some of the computers sporadically. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Were those machines imaged?

Have you checked to make sure that DNS is setup correctly on those machines?

I too have this issue at one of my campuses in particular, so I'm couriuos about this as well. I have put it on the backburner in my mind thinking that once I get the infrastructure (switches, cabling, etc...) up to par this year, that this might be a mute issue. So any info is of interest.

Do you think its related to imaging and the SID?

here are a few errors I found on one machine:
Automatic certificate enrollment for the local system failed to contact
the active directory (0x8007052b). Unable to update the password. The
value provided as the current password is incorrect.

Enrollment will not be performed.

Did you check your Event log?
Remove your machine from domain, change your SID, add them back on to see is there any problem.
